Where to start. The guy is my hero! As a kid I wrote to Richard Williams (the man responsible for the animation in "Roger Rabbit"). I told him about how I painted Roger Rabbit on my wall, & how many times I went to the cinema to go see the film. To my suprise he actually wrote back! (pictured left) I was never the same after seeing that film, & to have the guy respond with such positivity completely inspired me to do MY thing. So as a kid I kept a close eye out for his next BIG film. I saw documentaries about one that he had been working on, ("The Thief & The Cobbler") couldnt wait to see it finished. Time passed I grew up & it kind of vanished. What happened? I remember seeing Disney's Alladin & thinking "hey they ripped off Richard Williams". Years later I looked it up on the net & found out! Gutted! The man had his film taken from him from funders. Below is a trailer for a new documentary "Persistence Of Vision", it's the story of what happened to Richard Williams's film.
